2017: Cedas is located in Randers, Denmark. It's founded by E-MBA Peter Jensen Hyldgaard with the focus and purpose of being an experienced and professional partner in automation and related technologies. Peter starts working with his home office as base.

2018: Start-up with a partner in Aalborg in relation to the initial steps and identification with regard to making a software product for the industry.

2019: Peter buys and initiates the renovation of a building on Christoffersvej in Randers. Peter brings Manager Leif Bols Østergaard onboard as the first step in the development of Cedas. Shortly afterwards, Niels Ole Husum Sørensen is appointed as Chief Engineer. The main focus is on developing software for a demostand at the Ajour fair in Odense.

2020: The new facilities on Christoffersvej are being taken into use. We obtain support from InnoBooster for the continued development of the software product. The first version of our website are being established. In the summer 2020, Kim B. Kristensen are being employed as Automation Engineer. Alexandru Rosca are also employed as a Software Engineer intern.

2021: In continuation of the internship period, Alexandru is employed for a student job. From March, Casper de Medici Møller joins the team as an Automation Engineer. In the spring of 2021, we are 6 people in the office in addition to our accountant and cleaning assistant.

2022: Alexandru Rosca is employed as Software Engineer. Saravanan Shanmugam is employed as Senior Automation Engineer.
